Situated in the heart of Northumberland, with the Cheviot Hills on your doorstep and just a short drive from the most spectacular coastline and glorious sandy beaches, you will be truly spoilt for choice when deciding how to spend your days.

The dining kitchen contains plenty of space for a family of six to eat around a lovely, wooden table. All the equipment you might need is on hand to help make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. There is a washer/dryer, dishwasher
Downstairs the master bedroom includes a king-size bed and en-suite shower and WC. There are two further twin rooms and a family bathroom that has a shower over bath. You will find lots of storage space too to help keep your things tidy and give that real 'home from home' feel. A travel cot (with a selection of bedding) and high chair are also available in the cottage, should you require them.
We are certain that a stay in Honeymug will be a breathtaking experience in itself...but the icing on the cake will come in the form of the on-site leisure facilities, provided by Breamish Valley Cottages and fully available to Honeymug guests. The heating in Honeymug is by means of oil-fired central heating, the cost of which, as well as the leisure facilities and the provision of linen and towels,
The owners of Honeymug are delighted to be able welcome well behaved dogs with responsible owners. There is a stair gate available in the cottage for your convenience as well as a box of dog towels if you need them. We'd ask that you bring your own throws/blankets if you would like to have your four-legged friends on the sofa for cuddles! Please note that dogs must be taken out of the courtyard and exercised off the Breamish Valley Cottages site, this is at the request of the site owners.
Honeymug can be booked alongside its sister cottage, Pottery Cottage (sleeps 4), which is located in the same courtyard - perfect for larger family groups (up to 10 people) to be able to holiday together.
Set in the tranquil hamlet of Branton, Honeymug offers so much to do on site that it would be easy to forget that you are situated in the middle of some of the most stunning countryside imaginable.
Honeymug is in a great location to experience the very best that Northumberland has to offer. With the National Park, encompassing the Cheviot Hills, so near-by, you will never be short of a walking or cycling trail.
You are also less than a 30 minute drive from the Northumberland Coast and its designated area of outstanding natural beauty. It certainly won't take you long to realise why it's classified as such when you see some of the magnificent sandy beaches and the beautiful coastal towns and villages.
The town of Alnwick is also just a 15 minute drive away and its fabulous castle and gardens are certainly a 'must see'!

All bookings made more than six weeks in advance of your stay will require a deposit payment of 25% of the rental cost, plus a small 5% booking fee, with balance being due six weeks prior to your stay. All bookings made within six weeks of your stay will require payment to be made in full at the time of booking.
